A Name for Baby
Posted on March 10th, 2006 in Baby
I would love to hear your suggestions for names for baby. Just because you like it doesn’t mean I’ll like it, but we will definitely take any suggestions into consideration. The big search right now is for a 3 syllable boy name to use as a middle name with John (a name starting with M is a big plus).
Thanks in advance!

This is so neat! I will enjoy hearing about baby Mattiepooh (it is 3 syllables). John Mattiepooh-catchy, isn’t it! Just kidding- Love you 3!
You’ll have to admit mattiepooh is better than Beamus!

I think Melchizedek and Megiddo are great strong 3 syllables and Biblical names. Does Malachi fit the profile?
Ohhh, how about Montgomery? Sounds like a country singer…John Montgomery .
Okay, that’s a few more to choose from and he won’t get beat up in school for his name like he would with Mattiepooh.
I know this isn’t three syllables, but you can’t go wrong with a name like john marcus.
Hey dude – don’t get greedy. You’ve already got one nephew named after you
Ok, so can you guess what I did driving home to Powell – 30 minutes of thinking of Baby Names…*wink – when I got home I looked up the meanings – Mackenzie – Gaelic – Son of Wise Ruler
Madison – old english – son of soldier
Mackinley – scottish – son of leader
Matthias – Hebrew origin – A gift of God.
I looked up the Malachi – it means my messenger; my angel.
Whatever you choose to name this little one, he is going to be sooo lucky to have you for his mom!
happy name hunting!

J,
I love Montgomery (sounds strong) and I had also thought of Madison but wasn’t sure of Madison and the Matthias is interesting because that is what we almost names M when he was born since we were in Germany at the time. That is what the landlady called him when I told her his name.
My personal favorites are Madison and Mackenzie..but Matthias is okay too. I’m still hoping for a girl so this will not be an issue..ha ha
Not sure I am doing this right, but I will give it a try. We may be a little late on the name suggestions, but here goes.
Aunt Nana thinks John Mackenzie is a good strong name, looks great spelled out. Now on the other hand your Uncle Randall thinks Marmaduke goes well with John.
