Week 18 Update
We are approaching the close of week 18 of the pregnancy. It’s hard to believe we are almost half-way there! I’m enjoying the second trimester more than the first for several reasons: (1) no more sickness (2) my belly is beginning to show which makes the whole thing a little more real for both me and M (3) only 1 week, 3 days until the ultrasound!
For the last few weeks I’ve been able to feel some sporadic movements; the first several days I wasn’t sure if it was really the baby or not, but within the last couple of weeks they have become a little stronger and more regular. I can’t wait until M is able to feel it as well. It is so cool to think about the tiny life moving around in there and how God created this baby specifically for our family. What a glorious God we serve!
On the ultrasound note…our appointment is set for 1:00 on Monday, March 20th. As most of you have already heard, I think this is the coolest birthday present ever! I will be sure to post something later that day so that everyone will know (don’t worry Moms and N – We’ll give you a call).

well, anything with John will be just great…..of course there is malachi, m jr, michael(which is not the best name), monroe, murphy, none of these, really sound very good…..Papa John’s brother who died was named Morris Gordon…so Morris sounds really good “john morris” not bad..but whatever you pick will be great and will go with a wonderful new great for us….....and a cousin to the TWO BOYS Michael and katie will have sometime in July…they had their ultrasound today…love grandma and papa john
