Baby Names…Our Thoughts
Posted on March 14th, 2006 in Baby
Thanks to you all for your suggestions for “M” middle names. Some of them were quite interesting, and they provided plenty of conversation the last few days.
I know some of you (especially Nicole) will be glad to know that we really do have thoughts on the subject! Now it is just a matter of waiting until next week to see whether it is a boy or a girl.

WE ARE SO ANXIOUS TO KNOW BABY JACK OR LITTLE!
I love both names, especially the one for a girl…....and then john malachi sounds so patriarchial (someday) ....anyway, can’t wait to know then can’t wait to findout girl or boy
where is my comments from last week????? I thought about Morris…which was john’s brother’s name
Just sending you information on all the names in our family tree: the family comes from England with John B., married to Susannah White (whose father was William Mayflower White from the 1600’s). Boy names include: Benjamin,Dr. Ambrose, John clan, James Gordon, Ambrose Carter, Morris Gordon, Capt. J.W. of the Conferderate Army, Thomas, Jackson, Napoleon,. By the way, thank you for keeping the tradition; there has been a John in every generation since 1656! As for the Gray’s (name change from McGabe: 1692 in Ireland) Henry,Sea Captain in the Import-Export Business and Realtor. His son, John Henry, Doctor, Sheriff, and Mayor of Leesburg in 1825. Still, since then there has been a John Gray in every generation. Sorry no exciting “M” names except Morris.
By the way, really like your girl name. Love, C
Well, I think I hope it’s a girl..Surprise, Surprise! I like John Malachi okay, but not real wild about John Manchester. Shelley suggested Morrison, but I don’t think that would sound too good with your last name. What about Matthias, which means ‘gift of God’ or Montana, which means ‘mountain’?
We aren’t crazy about Manchester but we love Malachi. I know Aunt Cathy won’t like this comment but we are hoping for a Jack. We are afraid the girls might try to out number us boys.
