Well, I am just now reading this and was so worried as I read and remembered all the times my active son fell. Sorry, son! I was a very tired Mom and didn't have any idea how much you could do early in life. I think the first time you fell off a bed was when you were only a month or so old. We had gone to a party and placed you on a queen size bed and somehow you wiggled off the bed. Never did I believe such a tiny baby could move so far so quickly. Seems like you were always squirming and wiggling out of my arms or crawling off the bed. Thankfully, babies are quite tough and they do have busy guardians angels that always behold the face of the Father. There is nothing like being a Mom to make one feel guilty about something-it comes with the territory unfortunately. Give yourself a big hug and a sloppy kiss for sweet Little. So thankful that you all are okay. You are a great Momand a precious daughter-in-law!!

The tramatic morning wasn't experienced by just you! Being 3 hours away doesn't help the nerves when you receive phone calls like that in the early morning (or any other time for that matter). I worried all morning about the two of you, but more about you than Little. I felt sure that she was okay, but I knew that you would continue to feel guilty about letting her fall. As I told you, babies have accidents and no matter how close you are or how close you are watching them, they will get hurt at some point. You just can't beat yourself up about it, just take it as part of being a Mom and go on to the next challenge. However, I will say that in rearing you and your brother, we ever had to call 911 because of something happening to one of you (except for the fire). So mark one up to experience, and enjoy life as Little's Mom!!
