Still pregnant…

38weeks.jpg

38 1/2 weeks. Good heartbeat. Good movement. Good blood pressure. A few more contractions. A little more discomfort. A little less sleep. Ready to pop. Waiting to see what the next few days hold.

There hasn’t been too much to report this week. Little and I have been enjoying the warm, sunny days with lots of visits to the park and outside play time. Matt planted flowers in our flower beds over the weekend and some in pots last night; it is nice to see the color outside the windows after the drab winter. Little refers to the flowers as “da-da’s fowfers” everytime she sees them. Now we’re gearing up for more rain this afternoon and tonight and a few-day cold snap (hopefully the last of the season).

Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

  1. Everytime you pop up in Bloglines I wonder if it is time. I hope everything goes smoothly. Can’t wait to hear all about it!

  2. I am anxiously awaiting the news that “Jana’s in labor”! Love you lots! Glad y’all have been enjoying the outdoors. I hope the “bad weather” isn’t gonna get y’all today? We’re also suppose to have a cold front 50’s and 60’s…. not really thrilled, but like you, I hope this is the last of it!

  3. Oh girl, I can relate 100% to your feelings. It’s just a waiting game now huh? Your belly looks great and I love that shirt!

Cute shirt! I’m not thrilled about all the rain and cold. What happened to spring? We went out for recess yesterday, and it was not fun. The wind was bitter and blowing, and trying to keep 15 preschoolers, 17 kindergarteners, and 10 1st graders from getting in the puddles, and playing football in the wet grass is not my idea of a good time.
Good for your husband. I’m not so good with flowers, and gave up a few years ago. It’s rocks and grass as far as landscaping goes for us.
