I've never worn a baby. I just did the 'hold them in one arm and juggle everthing else with the other'. Wearing them would have made things so much easier. Oh well. It is SO much easier than carrying the infant seat. I think I only took mine out of the car maybe twice. It was even easy to carry a big baby. My youngest was 17 pounds at 2 months (!) and used it until he was over a year. (You can use them longer, but it was hard in the winter with coats, etc.) I love wearing my babies!
