Never again  RSS

Posted on August 15th, 2008 in Boo, Motherhood

It would seem that I hit myself with the mommyspoketoosoon jinx when I hit publish on Tuesday’s post.  Tuesday night Boo slept okay, Wednesday night he did bad, and last night he did terrible.

We shall never speak of his sleeping accomplishments again.

  1. Oh no! I hate that for y’all…. Was it his acid reflux or hunger? I don’t think Grayson started sleeping through the night until around 4 or 5 mos. old. Chandler didn’t start until he was almost 6 mos. Maybe he was just testing the waters…. I’m praying for baby Boo. Hope you get some rest.

Those inconsistent sleepers—they’re kind of like some elusive jungle creature…as long as you don’t acknowledge them, they might let you observe them from afar….but if you stare directly at them, they vanish….

    Good luck!

    Blessings!

I seem to have forgotten how fun it is to have a nonsleeping baby around. I was reminded this week at the hospital, There was a baby who cried day and night causing what little undisturbed sleep I get there to be even less. I feel for you greatly. But even in those moments when you are ready to scream, treasure them. You don’t know what lies ahead. I love you all. We enjoyed seeing you last weekend. I’m just glad it was the weekend before J had treatments and he was able to see you too. Hope things get better soon. Until then treasure all the snuggle moments you have.

  7. I absolutely believe that you can jinx yourself. I did the same thing. Normally, I don’t believe in this type of thing, but I will NEVER comment on my daughter sleeping well again (if, in fact, she does ever sleep well again).
