I'll have to check these out! I just finished Modern Girls, Shining Stars, the Skies of Tokyo by phyllis hirnbaum--fascinating read about 5 women from the 1930-40's in Japan who were considered instrumental in changing several of the cultural expectations of women. Some were actresses, some artists, some writers--really interesting. Also just finished don miller Blue Like Jazz (yeah, I'm a little behind--) Blessings! What a great list! I’ll have to check these out! I also thought Nineteen Minutes was very well done, but you will want to lock your children in your home until they are 30 if you read it. Thanks for sharing your stack! I thought it was awesome and I highly recommend her book Ninteen Minutes which I read first. I am also going to be checking out some more of her books really soon!
