Quick, before I get Sidetrack'd

It’s been a while since I’ve participated in Menu Plan Monday just because I can’t seem to remember to get the post written until it’s too late. So here I am, late to the party, but better late than never, right?

Here’s what we’ll be eating in the sidetrack’d household this week:

Monday – Taco Rice and Cheese casserole with chips and cheese dip

Tuesday – Calzone casserole with marinara sauce

Wednesday – leftovers

Thursday – Giada’s Chicken Parmesan (as adjusted by BooMama)

Friday – leftovers

Saturday – lunch: fend for yourselves / dinner: eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy

Today we spent the morning playing at a friend’s house, and lazy me decided to drive-thru the land of “Eat Mor Chicken” instead of making lunch once we got home. That place is NUTS at lunch time! Not that this is news to me as we generally drive-thru at least once every few weeks, but today seemed especially crazy.

As I sat in the parking lot awaiting my turn to pull around to even get into the drive-thru lane I contemplated the need for CFA to build on larger lots (along with contemplating the blog-ability of the situation). Then I pulled around and sighted just the thing that would make this whole crazy thing blog worthy: right there between the drive-thru lane and the other parking lot traffic was a man in a yellow safety vest. He was very adeptly directing cars out of the drive-thru into the flow of traffic around the building and stopping cars to let pedestrians cross the parking lot.

Seems this particular CFA has discovered how poorly their parking lot is designed and has decided to do something about it. You’ve gotta love a company that thinks about its customers.

The last few days Boo has been a bit cranky. Last night he woke from a dead sleep screaming several times. I told Matt that this was either an ear infection or teeth.

Today he has been very cranky which is quite unusual for my sweet boy. I checked the ol’ gums and sure ’nuff, not one but three teeth are making their way to the surface. That explains the crankies!

This will effectively double our toofer count (from 4 to 7) in one fell swoop. There will be no stopping him at the dinner table now!
